Summary

Chen He remains unresponsive after Lu Chen's harsh words, lying still like a corpse despite Lu Chen's attempts to tend to his wounds. Lu Chen decides to take a different approach, believing that comfort might help break Chen He's stubbornness. Bai Lian questions this method, but Lu Chen is determined to try it. After leaving Chen He, they go to Kunlun Hall, where Lu Chen waits for his master, Tian Lan Zhen. Bai Lian initially leaves but then decides to wait for Lu Chen. As Lu Chen waits, a storm brews outside, and when Tian Lan Zhen finally arrives, he is informed about Chen He and the demon cult. Just as Lu Chen begins to explain, they notice Bai Lian outside in the rain, and Tian Lan Zhen harshly criticizes her for her actions, suggesting she is manipulating the situation to gain sympathy.
