Summary

Cheng Dalei returns to the bandit camp and is welcomed by He Shen, who expresses relief that he hasn't taken over during his absence. The army, exhausted from their journey, hands over treasures to He Shen for inventory. Cheng Dalei reflects on the origins of these treasures, which may have come from the imperial palace. He notices Li Wan'er in the crowd but she quickly leaves, prompting him to seek her out. He learns she is with Ao Dai Lin Na, a beautiful Saintess struggling to gain true believers in the East. When Cheng Dalei finds them, he learns that Li Wan'er plans to convert to the Faith and become the Saintess, while Ao Dai Lin Na intends to marry and relinquish her title. Cheng Dalei is shocked by these developments and questions the implications of such decisions.
