Summary

In the afternoon, Li Yan Qing returns home to find a bullock cart waiting, driven by Sun Er, who is picking up physician Liu Ming Yi to check on Li Yan Qing's ailing wife, Si Si. After learning that Si Si's condition is not serious but requires self-care, Li Yan Qing is reassured. Si Si, despite her health issues, enjoys the winter and prefers staying indoors. Li Yan Qing's friend, Cao Xing, invites him to a snow outing the day after tomorrow, which Li Yan Qing initially hesitates to accept but eventually agrees to. On the day of the outing, he arrives at Chen Zhou Gate to find a large gathering of young aristocrats, including Gao Chong and the Cao sisters, Cao Jiao Jiao and Cao Yun. Li Yan Qing is drawn into their group for the snow enjoyment, excited about the day ahead.
