Summary

In the City of Radiance, war has devastated the area, but Ye Mo and his companions have defended it against monstrous beasts. The city, scarred and filled with the remains of both beasts and brave spirit masters, is home to over thirty thousand souls, with casualties rising each year. Ye Mo, mourning the loss of his son and the absence of his granddaughter, continues to fight for hope. A spirit puppet warns him of powerful beasts approaching, and Ye Mo entrusts a key to the ancestral land of spirit gods to his ancestor, Ye Yan, as a last hope. Suddenly, the seal of the Little Linglong World breaks, allowing a massive crimson python, Chi Mang, to emerge and command other beasts to capture all humans. The beasts, realizing their value is tied to the survival of humankind, prepare to hunt down the remaining humans, focusing on the City of Radiance.
