Summary

In a desolate setting, Deng Yu and Gou An confront their grim fate as they reach a floating island after a harrowing journey. Deng Yu, weakened and coughing, reflects on their tragic losses and the purpose of their struggle. As he attempts to summon a vine for water, he discovers a mysterious coffin at a grave mound. Despite his frailty, he interacts with the coffin, which begins to draw his blood. The atmosphere shifts as a ghostly being, You Jin Hua, emerges from the coffin, now a grotesque figure. In a moment of desperation, Deng Yu ends his life with ghostly vines, only to awaken as a severed hand. You Jin Hua, now ravenous, questions his intentions, revealing the complex dynamics of their fates intertwined with the coffin.
