Summary

In a grand hall, Xing Jue confronts a formidable stone door that guards a secret chamber. Despite his attempts to penetrate it with soul power, he fails. Qian, his companion, suggests forcing it open. After multiple powerful attacks, the door remains unbroken but eventually opens on its own, revealing a soul body, the Sect Master of the Devour the Soul Sect, who explains his predicament.
