Summary

Bai Ze, disguised in a mismatched outfit, enters a crowded celestial field where freelancers gather, influenced by the "Gray Phoenix." This figure has challenged guilds for control over resources, inspiring protests and a temporary peace for freelancers. As Bai Ze navigates the crowd, he spots a familiar round-faced boy, suspecting he may lead to his missing brother. Despite hesitations, he decides to follow him. During this, he encounters Black Impermanence, who warns him of dangers lurking in the labyrinth. Bai Ze ultimately boards a subway car, determined to observe the boy's actions and gather information about his brother's disappearance.
