Summary

Zhang Ze Duan's "Kiyomi Riverside," a celebrated Northern Song Dynasty painting, is currently owned by Xu Pu, a former Ming Dynasty official. The painting's history traces back to the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, eventually being collected by Zhou Wen Fu. Li Dong Yang, a descendant of a past admirer, was to receive it as a gift from Xu Pu. However, it was stolen en route and sold to the Li Family's pawn shop. The Li Family, fearing repercussions, sought help from Shen Xi, a skilled painter.
