Summary

In gratitude for a generous reward, an extra chapter unfolds the aftermath of a brutal battle led by Miao Yi, who decimates rival factions, leaving behind a scene of horror. Xu Hui Huang, witnessing the massacre, contemplates reporting Miao Yi but decides against it, fearing retaliation. Miao Yi later meets with allies and reflects on his losses, including over a hundred men. He encounters Wen Fang, who has come to assist him, and later visits Yao Ruoxian, sharing the story of Qi Xiu Hong, a woman he lost tragically. As he cremated her remains, Miao Yi expresses deep sorrow, realizing the pain of love too late. Yao Ruoxian, moved by the tale, reflects on the nature of love and loss.
