The Gate of the Mysterious Realm

Summary

Shi Mu arrives at the Deep Forest after two days of travel and decides to rest before entering the core area of the Mystic Realm. During the night, he is alerted by Cai Er that two young members of the Demon Race are approaching. The blue-scaled youth and the red-scaled youth discuss the urgency of reaching the center of the forest, where they believe treasures may be found. Suddenly, they are attacked by a powerful Mantis Spider, which traps the blue-scaled youth in a white net and kills him despite his attempts to escape. The red-scaled youth manages to evade the creature but is soon engaged in a fierce battle with the Mantis Spider. Realizing he cannot win, he uses a technique to escape, leaving behind a Qing Shan Ling. The Mantis Spider then shifts its focus to Shi Mu, who narrowly avoids an attack and attempts to create distance. A fierce confrontation ensues, with Shi Mu using his weapons to counter the Mantis Spider's powerful strikes, resulting in both of them being knocked back.
