Summary

In a city under siege, armored soldiers, led by Li Zheng Yuan, rush to confront demon soldiers slaughtering civilians. Amidst chaos and bloodshed, they engage in a fierce battle, witnessing horrific violence. Despite their elite training, casualties mount on both sides. Li Zheng Yuan, witnessing the devastation, orders the city gates sealed to prevent the demons' escape. After a brutal fight, the demon soldiers are eventually defeated, but the cost is high, with thousands of civilians dead. Li Zheng Yuan learns of a demon general's escape and feels guilt over the losses. He reports to Master Ti Dian, pleading to stay and atone for the fallen, but is ordered to return to the capital instead.
