Summary

Wu Ming acquires the "Scroll of Heavenly Craftsmanship," a coveted manuscript containing ancient mechanisms crucial for creating the Heavenly Craftsmanship Puppet. The Mo Jia elders express dissatisfaction upon seeing only part of the scroll. Wu Ming proposes a deal: he will provide the first half of the scroll if the Gongshu family meets his conditions in three years. However, they face a dilemma due to an impending duel with the Mo Jia, which complicates their ability to assist Wu Ming. Meanwhile, Wu Ming remains unfazed, recognizing the Gongshu family's cunning nature and deciding to delay their alliance until after the unification of Dingzhou.
