Summary

After being struck by lightning, the cultivator Jiu fell from the sky, losing his ability to fly. Wu Mian, observing Jiu's fall, chose not to intervene, prompting Gui Bu Gui to suggest they could have learned more from Jiu. Amid playful banter between Gui Bu Gui and his son, Bai Wu Qiu, Wu Mian leaped down to seek a magical artifact. They later discovered that Jiu's body had turned to ashes, leaving them to bury his belongings. Confusion ensued as Wu Mian, returning from his quest, sought Ren San. Jiu Jiu instructed Wu Mian to throw a magical item into the valley, leading to a tense exchange about their intentions regarding the Black Cat and the ginseng elf, ultimately revealing their precarious situation.
