Summary

Ning Qiushui emerges from a torture chamber, bloodied and vacant, after a night of revenge that leaves him feeling empty. He decides to burn the chamber down, wanting to take a tape recorder with him. Meanwhile, in a hospital room, Chen Bin lies dying, having tormented others in dreams. Ning Qiushui's companions argue about the implications of Chen Bin's death, fearing military repercussions. Despite the tension, Ning Qiushui plans to report the truth. Later, he meets with a military official, confirming Chen Bin's role in a larger conspiracy linked to the 'Luo Sheng Sect' and is invited to join a secretive plan.
