Summary

In a vivid dream, A Cuo confronts Müller, a German man who possesses his short sword. As Müller taunts him, A Cuo realizes he's trapped in a nightmare. He wakes up in a hospital, but the terror lingers, with phantom pain in his shoulder. He soon finds himself back in the dream where Müller presents two human heads, one belonging to A Cuo's grandfather. In a fit of rage, A Cuo charges at Müller, but the nightmare continues to taunt him. The nurse's voice pulls him back to reality, where he finds his grandfather still alive, though in a deep sleep after sedation. A Cuo's relief is short-lived as his grandfather's unsettling words hint at a darker connection between their dreams.
