Summary

Kong Bai is busy preparing soup for his wife, which surprises He Ping, who compares him to a friend who has never shown kindness to women. Gu Xiao, intending to make soup for Ke Le, learns from He Ping that his friend is missing. The next day, Gu Xiao assists Ke Le at the city guard's office, where they find her belongings but learn her dolls were discarded. Ke Le is angry, but Gu Xiao comforts her, guiding her to leave. A city guard expresses suspicion about Ke Le's identity, leading Tian Bai Ming to plot against her. Afterward, Gu Xiao goes out alone, leaving Ke Le to wonder why she feels compelled to listen to him.
