Summary

Cheng Ke Ke, a physician-turned-ghost agent, recounts his journey in the Underworld after dying from an incurable illness. Unable to reincarnate and wanting to avoid wandering, he becomes a probationary ghost agent to gain an official identity. He partners with Xia Huan, a vibrant fellow agent, but tragically loses him during a mission. Sister Mu then guides and trains him, eventually helping him transfer to the human realm to pursue medical studies and explore cuisine, which he deeply missed during his short life.
