Summary

As they discuss their plans, the battlefield suddenly changes; vengeful spirits cease their attacks and merge into towering Soul Sages, which terrify Bai Xiao Chun. He also notices unique souls and a gray-robed figure, who is revealed to be a cultivator commanding the spirits. Li Hong Ming explains that this figure is a Soul Scholar, a powerful being in the wilderness hierarchy, while Soul Masters manipulate and refine souls, making them formidable threats.
