Summary

In a city under siege, chaos reigns as demon soldiers, once part of the Emperor's army, slaughter the populace. A maiden is brutally killed, and the Qi Bing, a demon, feasts on her heart. The county magistrate, initially dismissive of the chaos, is soon overwhelmed by the horror as his officers attempt to fight back. Amidst the bloodshed, he realizes his failure and takes his own life in despair. Lu Wang, the orchestrator of this carnage, plans to use the bloodshed to bolster his demon army, anticipating reinforcements from the imperial army. As the demons gather, the city becomes a gruesome battlefield, with Lu Wang leading his forces into the fray.
