Summary

In Chapter 583, Spike uses a strategic retreat to evade the Kunpeng demon after disrupting a month’s worth of preparations by various factions. As the factions bolster their defenses, they eventually complete the nine nodes necessary to access the sixth layer. Upon entering, they find the area desolate, with the seventh layer also emptied. They face challenges breaching the eighth layer, which is protected by celestial artifacts. After a month of intense effort, the factions manage to break through, but their victory is overshadowed by Mei Lun’s control over the core formation of Golden Summit Mountain, which he threatens to self-destruct. As the factions scramble to escape, the mountain explodes, resulting in catastrophic losses for the united forces. The chapter ends with the remaining factions, despite their heavy losses, steeling themselves for a final confrontation against Mei Lun.
