Summary

Xu Liao, after seeing four girls home, seeks solitude on a skyscraper rooftop in North City. He reflects on the city's vibrancy and gazes at notable structures, including the Hao Ji Tian Monument and the towering Tian Dou Zhi Men, a virtual realm for demons. Xu Liao feels a desire to explore beyond his usual haunts. He contemplates the implications of the ancient demon heavenly court's potential return, prompting him to summon two ancient stone demons, Mu Hu and Cang Yuan, for a mission involving Hu Bao Yi, the chief steward of Hao Ji Tian. He instructs them to pledge allegiance to Hu Bao Yi while concealing their past association with Wan Yao Hui. To aid their adaptation, he introduces them to the East Sea Treading Waves Grand Marshal, who they recognize from their shared history.
