Summary

Yang Lao Tou, the eighth child from a fishing village, faced hardship after a plague took his family. He wandered, doing odd jobs until he was taken in by his nephew, who later died at the hands of bandits. Li Ye, analyzing the situation, suspects the owner and proprietress of the Golden Juice Beef Bun shop or a street delinquent named Niu Er as potential poisoners.
