Summary

In a tense underground setting, Sun Pang Zi and the narrator await news from Huang Ran after a gunfight, during which Huang claims to have dealt with the corpses. As time passes, anxiety grows, prompting the narrator and Sun Pang Zi to descend into the dark space below. They find signs of struggle, including blood and a hidden hole. Exploring further, they discover mangled corpses and spent shells, confirming a recent battle. Suddenly, while investigating a wall, they accidentally trigger a hidden passage, releasing monstrous creatures. In a desperate moment, the narrator uses short swords to defend against the impending attack.
