Summary

As dusk approached, three travelers, Zhang Shu Cheng, Mo Sheng Tu, and Miao Yi, sought refuge from an impending storm while exploring the desolate Thousand Buddha Mountain. They discovered an abandoned temple with a large plaza, ancient locust trees, and eerie surroundings filled with heavy yin energy. Despite their initial fears of spirits, their magical sight revealed no threats. As rain poured, they took shelter inside the temple, where they found remnants of past campfires and a deteriorating Buddha statue. Suddenly, a drenched scholar rushed in, followed by two strong men carrying a sedan chair with a mysterious woman inside.
