Summary

Mei Lun, having gathered intelligence, targets the Palace of Horror in Mo Yun State, ruled by the Semi-Sage Jing Shengyue. The Palace employs brutal methods, requiring disciples to sever emotional ties by killing loved ones. Mei Lun arrives during a trial for outer disciples but soon decides to infiltrate the palace. He senses Jing Shengyue's presence and recklessly confronts him, unleashing a sea of blood. Jing Shengyue attempts to negotiate but ultimately prepares for battle. In a fierce clash, Mei Lun kills Tomoya, the palace master, and seals his essence before departing. The chaos leads to the downfall of the Demon Palace, prompting surrounding factions to seize the opportunity. Mei Lun then heads to the Nine Heavens Sect but finds it on high alert due to the news of the attack. Undeterred, he charges in with Spike, causing further turmoil. Over three months, the demonic realm descends into chaos as multiple Semi-Sages fall to a mysterious killer, igniting fear among the Demon Race and drawing attention from the Human Race. Mei Lun, seeking more power, approaches Chang Sheng Xian and Huo Feng Xian, requesting essence from the Mountain and Sea Realm. They agree to provide it, recognizing Mei Lun's growing strength and the need to keep him from causing further chaos within the Demon Race. With new resources, Mei Lun shifts his focus to the Human Race, facing increased vigilance and ambushes but successfully evading traps.
