Summary

Ou Yang Ming returns to the city with his beast companions, Cang Ying and Da Huang, causing relief among the citizens due to his ability to identify insect poison. The city lord, Yu Jin Shuang, initially dismisses Ou Yang Ming but changes his mind after witnessing Cang Ying's capabilities. Upon returning, Ou Yang Ming learns that five people are missing, and although he doubts the need for identification, he agrees to proceed for the sake of public reassurance. During a demonstration, Cang Ying uses sound waves to detect the presence of insect poison among the gathered crowd. Most people react in pain, except for one individual, Mao Rui Yi, who appears unaffected. This raises suspicion, but Ou Yang Ming quickly clears the misunderstanding, confirming that Mao Rui Yi is not an insect poison. Mao Rui Yi expresses his desire to become Ou Yang Ming's disciple, eliciting envy from the onlookers. Yu Jin Shuang congratulates Ou Yang Ming on accepting a disciple, but Ou Yang Ming humbly declines, stating he is too young for such a role.
