Summary

Lu Chen steps out of a room and notices two demonic figures leisurely walking away, puzzled by their lack of urgency. He follows them, feeling empowered by the blood moonlight, which enhances his dark fire abilities. As he trails the figures, he speculates that the environment may hinder normal cultivators, explaining their behavior. After a while, they reach a mountain wall with a staircase leading to a cave. Lu Chen overhears a conversation indicating they are nearing a meeting with Elder Ghost. Concerned about being detected, he hides as the figures enter the cave. He quickly follows, feeling an unusual weight and dimness as he proceeds. Suddenly, he is attacked by the cook from the tavern, who now displays a murderous intent.
