Good Landlord of the Tang Dynasty.

Chapter 450: Ranked as Prime Minister. [449]

Summary

Li Shi Min introduced a hereditary thorn for vassal lords and an enfeoffment system, appointing 36 hereditary lords and 18 royal family members. However, many would not assume their roles immediately due to territorial conflicts and age. Li Chao saw through this facade, recognizing it as an illusion of power. Li Shi Min's strategy appeared generous, but it was ultimately self-serving. He also appointed his son as Crown Prince and expanded the nobility list significantly. Li Chao was tasked with leading a military expedition with limited resources, while the emperor denied his request for additional support. Despite concerns over spring plowing, Li Chao remained optimistic about the potential rewards from victory in Lingwu, a wealthy region.
