Summary

Wang Fan sends items to his father as winter nears its end, while the global death toll stabilizes. He upgrades his radar device using owls for better detection. Strange large footprints lead toward him, belonging to the Ye Ren, who are equipped with weapons and a bizarre creature. As they close in, Wang Fan and Lin Qing Xue decide to evacuate. They face danger from stone slings used by the Ye Ren, leading to Wang Fan's injury. The Silverback helps him escape, but they must hide in the forest to avoid being tracked. Lin Qing Xue uses a purification mist to mask their scent, suspecting they are being targeted by the wild men.
