Summary

Xiao Yan faces a terrifying corpse monster with a heart glowing red, surrounded by dark gas and tentacles. He uses his powerful technique, Scatter the Sky Hand, to disrupt the black aura but realizes the monster has transformed into a more grotesque form. Summoning a life-saving talisman, he attempts to counter the threat but finds it insufficient. As the monster attacks, Xiao Yan uses the Xuan Ling Sword, which fails to penetrate the monster's defenses. He tries to retrieve a colorful heavenly stone but is ensnared by chains of black gas, immobilizing him. In a desperate move, he activates the Mirror of Still Water, managing to break free momentarily, but remains entangled in the black gas as he regains his strength.
