Summary

Bai Li Pang Pang is torn between avenging his brother Bai Li Xin and protecting his comrades from the consequences of his actions. As he hesitates, Bai Li Xin taunts him about his selfishness, but before Pang Pang can act, Shen Qing Zhu appears and fatally wounds Bai Li Xin with a Soul-Cutting Blade. After incinerating Bai Li Xin's body, Shen Qing Zhu disappears, leaving Pang Pang and Lin Qi Ye in shock. Zuo Qing, furious over the assassination, attempts to pursue Shen Qing Zhu but is stopped by Lin Qi Ye. After a tense exchange, Zuo Qing relents but Lin Qi Ye collapses from exhaustion. Meanwhile, Shen Qing Zhu meets Di Jiu Xi, who comments on the implications of the assassination and suggests they take their time returning to report to the cult. They decide to relax and explore Guangshen instead.
