Summary

Two girls at a bar attract attention from handsome men, but one, Lan Lan, dismisses them as superficial. She notices a gloomy man, Ye Gelu, who is drowning his sorrows. Despite her friend's interest, Lan Lan is only sensing danger from him. Ye Gelu is trying to gain sympathy from Pei Yanzhi by appearing despondent after being slandered online. Meanwhile, Pei Yanzhi is heartbroken over Ye Gelu's situation. A group of delinquents confronts Ye Gelu, but he takes their abuse without fighting back, hinting at his despair. Duan Hong Ling, the bar owner, intervenes, and the delinquents leave. Pei Yanzhi approaches Ye Gelu, concerned for him, as he expresses a desire to be forgiven and to stay with her.
