Summary

Qu Dong Cheng, a once-bustling city, has become eerily deserted due to the mysterious disappearance of its inhabitants, rumored to be the work of a demon. As two old guards discuss the unsettling events, a massive shadowy cloud appears above the city, darkening the sky and revealing blood-red beams of light. This ominous cloud releases blood-colored mist that begins to consume the flesh of those present, leaving behind only bones. The situation escalates as the disciples of the Qing Lin Guan sect arrive to confront the threat, but their leader, an Earth-level Elder, is quickly overwhelmed and devoured by the blood cloud. By evening, Qu Dong Cheng is devoid of life, with only piles of bones remaining. The blood cloud transforms into a blood-red serpent, which eventually solidifies into Ao Zu, the Golden Flood Dragon. He surveys the destruction and prepares to leave for the East Sea, having forcibly activated the blood essence power within.
