Summary

In the chaos of Huang Feng Cave, monsters clashed over the desire to consume Tripitaka's flesh, disregarding the incapacitated tiger spirits. Amidst the turmoil, Chu Yun observed, waiting for Lingji Bodhisattva to awaken, who remained sealed due to Huang Feng Da Sheng's inactivity. As tensions escalated, Pigsy and Sandy struggled against the immortal-binding ropes, attempting to protect Tripitaka. When a wolf demon successfully bit Tripitaka, gravely wounding him, the Five Vajrapanis intervened too late to save him. After Tripitaka's death, Guanyin Bodhisattva resurrected him, but the recurring theme of his demise raised concerns about the toll of such tribulations.
