Chapter 441: You Don't Have the Right to Let Me Go [442]

Summary

Shen Jiao and Jin Yu Qin engage in a heated argument at the Han family residence. Shen Jiao's anger stems from Jin Yu Qin's past wrongdoings, particularly her treatment of Han Qi Xiu and his pet Xiao Jiao. Jin Yu Qin, fueled by old grudges and new grievances, loses her composure and lashes out at Shen Jiao. The argument escalates, with Shen Jiao delivering sharp-tongued insults and Jin Yu Qin struggling to maintain her dignity. Han Qi Wei intervenes, attempting to calm the situation, but Jin Yu Qin's anger and humiliation boil over. Shen Jiao's words strike a chord, and Jin Yu Qin's anger dissipates, replaced by doubt and guilt. Shen Jiao continues to press her advantage, questioning the Jin family's values and morals. Jin Yu Qin, enraged, refuses to back down and forbids Han Qi Xiu from marrying Shen Jiao. Shen Jiao remains defiant, asserting that Han Qi Xiu will only marry her and that Jin Yu Qin's agreement is irrelevant. The argument concludes with Jin Yu Qin's anger and humiliation, while Shen Jiao emerges confident and unafraid. Han Qing Ye, observing the argument from outside, is pleased to see Shen Jiao's devotion to Han Qi Xiu and believes that she has brought joy and happiness to his grandson's life. However, he is also curious about Shen Jiao's accusations against Jin Yu Qin and wonders what she might have done to wrong Han Qi Xiu.
