Summary

The battlefield situation is critical, with some Xianbei individuals still alive after a calamity. Two captives, Mu Rong Bo and a Xianbei general, are brought before Xia Tian, who reveals his true identity after Wu Song's disguise fades. Mu Rong Bo expresses confusion about the betrayal, realizing Xia Tian's alliance with Bai Yu Jing. Tensions rise as Mu Rong Fu, Mu Rong Bo's son, tries to distance himself from his father's actions to protect his future. Li Ru, head of intelligence for Bai Yu Jing, confronts Mu Rong Fu about his past, leading to a betrayal by the Xianbei general. As the situation escalates, Mu Rong Fu uses a powerful poison to threaten Li Ru, but the poison is ineffective against him. Li Ru showcases his mastery of poisonous insects, overwhelming Mu Rong Fu. Ultimately, Xia Tian decides to detain the captives for a public trial instead of executing them immediately.
