Summary

Xiao Chen, after experiencing pain and confusion, learns from the Gu Ji Beast that Huangfu Xin Er has been caring for him. He rushes back to find only her broken zither. Later, during the Ghost Festival, he arrives at a town and senses he’s being followed. He encounters Mo Yu, Mo Wen, and He Chen Tian, who confront him about the Slayer of Immortals Blade. Despite their initial caution, they attack him. Xiao Chen retaliates fiercely, showcasing his power, but is ultimately weakened by Mo Wen's strike. As he struggles, he calls upon the Dread Spirit, but Mo Wen uses a talisman to neutralize it, leaving Xiao Chen vulnerable and confused about their secret technique.
