Summary

In "Opening the Coffin," five individuals follow a funeral procession to a burial site on a hill filled with neglected graves. As the coffin is buried, Officer Huang and Old Man Wu discuss the urgency of the investigation. After the burial, the group plans a nighttime investigation, suspecting something unusual about the deceased Hua Zi's family. Under the cover of darkness, they dig up the grave, only to find the bodies have turned into skeletons, raising questions about their rapid decomposition. Gao Yang realizes they are in the original Gujia Village, hinting at deeper mysteries to unfold.
