Summary

In a haunted house, Zhao Lao searches for clues about Huang Qian's corpse but feels increasingly isolated. He encounters unsettling dolls that seem to move, culminating in a horrifying revelation when he finds "Little Yue" without a shadow. Panic ensues as the dolls line up behind him, and he loses consciousness after a terrifying encounter. Later, staff members find him and Little Yue unconscious. As they leave, Zhao Lao wakes, relieved to be outside. Ji Qian Ming, another staff member, prepares to leave for school but shares a heartfelt moment with his boss, Chen Ge, who expresses regret over his departure. The story hints at lingering supernatural elements as Chen Ge converses with a ghostly figure in the mirror.
