Summary

Qi Hang and Xing Er journey through a desolate landscape, struggling with limited supplies after leaving their village. They discover a nearby village filled with corpses, leading Qi Hang to suspect a grim fate for Xing Er's people. Despite the bleakness, they find water and take camels for their journey. After 18 days without signs of life, Qi Hang theorizes about the elusive "Dongfang" and decides to search the skies. He discovers a weak point in the space and opens a passage, offering Xing Er a chance to escape their dire situation. They enter the passage, leaving behind a desolate world, while two figures from a sect investigate the area, pondering the nature of the spatial rupture.
