Summary

Qing Wu feels a growing distance from Tang Xiu, who has become indifferent towards her. She asks him about his performance for the school event, and he decides to play "Immortal Dream" on the guqin, recalling a celestial melody he composed for her. Tang Xiu later meets Hu Qing Song and discusses plans for the day, but he needs to buy a guqin for the evening performance. He runs into Mu Wan Ying, who offers to accompany him. They search for a guqin but find poor quality instruments. Meanwhile, Tang Xiu receives a call about an elderly couple, Wei Jiang Ping and Chun Xiu, who are seeking their children and have been captured. Tang Xiu spares their lives in exchange for a quality guqin, which Chun Xiu agrees to procure.
