Summary

Miao Yi is coerced by an old man to sweep the grounds of the Western Star Palace using a heavy broom made from 'Ten Thousand Year Ice Chrysanthemum.' The old man warns him that if he damages the grass, it will wither, and he won't hesitate to gossip about Miao Yi. Despite the broom's weight, Miao Yi struggles to sweep without harming the grass. His friend Yan Bei Hong finds him and, after trying the broom, realizes the difficulty of the task. They discover that the grass has a peculiar property, causing it to wither if damaged. Yan Bei Hong helps Miao Yi, but both realize the challenge of sweeping carefully without injuring the grass.
