Summary

Han Sen boards the interstellar ship Eternal Sigh Goddess, expecting a high-level warship but finds it more like a guard ship. Despite its advanced features, it’s docked at a civilian spaceport, raising his suspicions. After reporting to the cook squad, he meets the stout leader and learns he will assist with chores due to his lack of culinary skills. The ship's mission is to explore desolate star systems for habitable planets and relics of the ancient Jing Zu civilization, known for their crystal bodies and rumored mental powers. The crew has a relaxed atmosphere, allowing Han Sen some freedom, but he must first familiarize himself with his new environment.
