I Have A Mountain Stronghold.
Chapter 433: New Day. [433]
Summary
Lin Shaoyu's rebel army is struggling after being driven out of Chang'an city, with only 3,000 to 4,000 soldiers remaining loyal to him. They are facing relentless pursuit and blockades from enemy troops, resulting in fierce battles and heavy casualties. The army is plagued by defeat, death, pain, hunger, and cold, and a growing sentiment of distrust towards Lin Shaoyu is spreading among the ranks. Lin Chong, a fierce general, approaches Lin Shaoyu and offers him a steamed bun, which Lin Shaoyu initially refuses, suggesting it be given to the wounded instead. Lin Chong insists that Lin Shaoyu eat it, as his body needs nourishment. Lin Shaoyu takes a bite and begins to discuss their plans with Lin Chong. With Guo Fan Ren's death, the rebel army has lost its strategist, and Lin Chong is the only one left to discuss strategies with Lin Shaoyu. Lin Shaoyu suggests that they break through the border and take the grasslands directly to Qinchuan Pass, but Lin Chong expresses concerns about their ability to survive the journey. Meanwhile, on the grasslands, the Rong tribe's Lie Yang Bu is attacking the Red Stone Clan, a small tribe with barely 50 to 60 men. The leader of the Red Stone Clan, Hei Yan, fights fiercely but is unable to protect his family. Just as Lie Yang Bu is about to emerge victorious, a one-eyed boy appears on the battlefield, riding a black horse. The boy asks Lie Yang Xiong, the leader of Lie Yang Bu, if he is willing to let him be their leader, which is met with laughter and ridicule.Full content
