Summary

Ning Qiushui, initially intending to spare a man's life, finds himself confused as his bullet strikes at an unexpected angle. After the man falls, he feels relief that they are not inside the Blood Gate, yet unease lingers. He rescues a woman named Li Yue, who reveals she dreams of another version of herself guiding her. They discuss a dread spirit, the 'Water Person,' linked to a haunted place, the Sunflower Welfare Home, and the existence of over a hundred stone gates in Bird Mountain Town. Ning Qiushui realizes the town is overrun by spirits and seeks a way to end the chaos, learning he must find a 'Stone Key' to lock the stone door leading to a dangerous world called 'Little Hell.'
