Summary

In the depths of his heart, Axe Master felt helpless, realizing that confronting Mo Wuji would lead to his demise, regardless of whether he spoke or remained silent. He confessed that it was his superior who wanted Mo Wuji to go out and that he had been deceiving him. Mo Wuji, needing Spirit Stones, agreed to meet with an Immortal named Gong Hou, who was at the Celestial Immortal level. As they approached the meeting point, Mo Wuji sensed a powerful presence, confirming that an Immortal was indeed present. Upon meeting Gong Hou, Axe Master was respectful, but Gong Hou quickly revealed his intention to kill him, turning Axe Master into a charred corpse before Mo Wuji's eyes. Despite the danger, Mo Wuji remained unfazed, refusing to submit to Gong Hou.
