Summary

The chapter describes a fierce battle between Shi Mu and Miao Kong against the formidable nine-headed Taotie. Shi Mu uses his mastery of the four pillars and eight beams to summon a giant axe, which he hurls at the Taotie, while Miao Kong supports him with powerful spirit treasures. Despite the Taotie's attempts to defend itself with a white light shield, Shi Mu and Miao Kong manage to weaken it significantly. Miao Kong unleashes the green giant blade, which ultimately shatters the shield, allowing Shi Mu to deliver a devastating blow with golden-blue flames that obliterates the Taotie's head. After the battle, Shi Mu and Miao Kong share the spoils, including two pieces of Water of Time. Miao Kong departs, and Shi Mu reflects on their victory and the impending collapse of the Mystic Realm due to the removal of the Water of Time.
