Summary

Song Jiang is rescued from the battlefield by Li Kui and orders a counterattack with fireballs. The Liangshan forces switch to fireball projectiles, causing chaos among the enemy troops. However, the enemy, led by Zhong Shi Dao, retaliates with Thunderclap shells, inflicting devastating damage on the Liangshan camp, killing over a thousand soldiers and destroying key defenses. Recognizing the imminent threat, Song Jiang orders a retreat to Xucheng. Meanwhile, Lin Chong and Lu Junyi also decide to withdraw. Zhong Shi Dao takes advantage of the situation by sending a messenger to Li Yan Qing and occupying Juyecounty as a supply base. Lu Junyi, skeptical of the Thunderclap shells, ultimately retreats but faces an unexpected night raid by Zhong Shi Dao's forces, leading to a catastrophic defeat. Lu Junyi's army collapses, suffering heavy casualties and losses, forcing him to regroup with Hu Cheng and retreat towards Yuzhou.
