Summary

Fang Li meets La Mi, a red-clad apostle known as the "Bone Picker," who is possessing a torch. La Mi introduces himself and Fang Li notes that he can see another presence within the torch. La Mi is surprised by Fang Li's perception and reveals that he is actually the "Spiral Organ," a renowned Zizai Master in the Red World. La Mi has been collecting existence power from the torch to restore an item gifted to him by a former lover. He has been entrusted by the advisor of the "Hua Zhuang Wu Hui" to set up a self-sufficient arrangement in the city, which will extract existence power from Fang Li once a certain condition is met. La Mi warns Fang Li that this could lead to his death and that the "Hua Zhuang Wu Hui" may not need to come to the city to achieve their purpose. La Mi disappears, leaving Fang Li to contemplate the situation.
