Legends of the Civil Investigation Bureau: Memoir of Encouragement.
Chapter 423: Releasing Life. [425]
Summary
Bai Jiang and Wu Mian fell, with Wu Mian using weather manipulation to counter Bai Jiang's demonic flames, resulting in both suffering severe injuries. Gui Bu Gui retrieved a golden shell from Wu Mian, and after assessing the situation, he decided against killing Bai Jiang due to his son Bai Wu Qiu's pleas. Bai Wu Qiu, despite his own injuries, defended Bai Jiang, invoking family ties and urging forgiveness. Following this, the group planned to stay longer at their location due to Bai Wu Qiu's recovery. They aimed to search for the next map in the grasslands, but faced challenges due to the ongoing war. Bai Wu Qiu recovered surprisingly fast, and preparations were made for their journey, including acquiring heavy-duty carts and a Xiongnu slave for translation.Full content
